Almost two weeks between posts, this must be some kind of all time highlow, actually, on this blog.
During the last three weeks I completed one project for good, took four days off twice and started/re-launched a new audio podcast , called Kanal 14, or channel 14. It will be mostly in German, but the name allows for some English-language content, too, so I hope to be able to get David Weinberger to appear again, maybe Jason Calacanis can make good on his promise from DLD08 to come on and Steve Gillmor can explain whether his gig at E-week announced in March is already over. Now that Techcrunch is not only hosting the Gillmor Gang but also a muffler blog which Gillmor is editing.
What else is new? I canceled my cell phone contract with Vodafone although I am perfectly happy with their service and ordered an iphone 2. I listened to a great interview with Dan Tapscott by Soeren Stamer which made me – among other things – rethink my music purchasing strategy. I’ll take a deep look into streaming services available in Germany.
Today the German fring blog which I edit turns one year which I think is really cool, and it won’t be long until my English video podcast turns 2 yrs. Of course I failed to turn in a suggestion for a presentation at Web 2.0 Expo in time. All the better, more focus on the site.
Although quiet here, I shared some findings there. I have grown very fond of Marc Canter’s recent blogging and am still wrapping my head around puppetmaster Loren Feldman.
