I don’t know whether it is the next big thing. What I like though is that is enables me to have a conversation somewhere between blogging and chat. Not yet a chat but more than following and commenting on blog posts. I still mainly have to go through the twitter home page b/c IM doesn’t work neither on AIM nor Gchat but I don’t read everything that happened at night. I don’t read everything on Techmeme either. Granted, if Scoble or Rubel were to drop out of it, there might be less traction, but for now, I’ll keep twitter on my radar.
