Hey, sorry to hear that. But it’s a fresh start for your library. Nowadays all my music is digital so should it happen again I’d be refilled in a second. Since then, no problems with updates though, knock on wood.

OMFG is right! This happened to me last week…. I updated to itunes 7.6.2 or whatever the latest one is as of 05/28/08 and bam! 28 gigs worth of music down the drain!
That’s dozens of albums burned enthusiastically when I first got my ipod, and dozens of albums purchased on itunes months ago on an older, now defunct computer.
That’s also a thrown away ipod and a new investment in Zune.
I stared at the screen with my mouth wide open as hours and hours of burning and downloading were rendered obsolete within seconds.
I then saw red and desperately searched for something to destroy (a fit which had me blaming itunes and apple for my newly broken mirror).
    Yes, FUCK itunes!

I know how you feel man. Thankfully, all my stuff is on a hard disc now anyway. But still, it sucked.

OK, So iTunes randomly deleted my playlists on it, that means all the music, thats a lot of music. So after a lot of work I re organize it all, adding it all back, a couple new playlists, I update my iPod a few times and I’m happy. Until… It did it again.. Only this time, not only did it dealete all of my playlists, songs and whatnot, it went back to the old library and playlists! I want the other one back!! What do I do?!?
