bellobene is a small retailer with shops in Heidelberg, Mannheim and Freiburg. At the end of last year, a new online shop was launched. Since then I have joined the company, working on the logistics of shipping our product and web communication. One of the results is the new blog which, once the integration into the corporate website is completed, will complement that nicely.

I will write most of the posts myself, hoping that others might join in later. I’ll write about happenings in the shipping departement and certain product groups, the latter from the perspective of a customer – I use many of the products myself.

The launch got of to a nice start with a little off-line mailing: I sent out one of our products to a couple of bloggers who I mostly knew in person. In addition, I asked them for permission to send them a little something, no strings attached. Just, "enjoy".
First reactions are in. Thank you. Of course, Shel, there will be a documentation of strategy, goals and results. How about a case study? We’ll see.

It’s a work in progress, of course, but bellobene is now out there, listening and engaging. And linking…
