Amazon shouldn’t be the gold standard until it works…

I may repeat myself, but Amazon has problems. I love the speedy delivery, full stock and range. But after that it let’s me down, as I mentioned here before. This week alone, two things happened which illustrate that. First, I get a recommendation to buy a book on amazon.de which I already bought at amazon.com – mind you, same email-address, same password, same address! Then this morning I get this email:
It’s a German title so I will help you with that. Basically, the paper back title has the moniker “roman” (novel) attached to the title, hence the system seems to think, it’s a different book. And offers it to me although I bought the hard cover already which the system knows. I guess that happens when people get involved…
