Who’s gonna wanna watch that? Changes at planetsab

Two nights ago we watched Before Sunset, one of our favorites from the past, from 1995 actually. Even on the train ride Jesse explains an idea he had for a TV show to Celine. He envisioned “a camera being on a person or a flat for 24 hours, 365 different persons a year, the show would go on for a year.” Sounds like reality TV of today to me. Her response was a sound “who’s gonna wanna watch that?”

Well, my online property was much too broadly spread, one could easily shout “who’s gonna wanna watch that” at me, so I started quietly by moving the German blog on a hosted server (so I can finally post other videos than YouTube), and importing everything from planetsab.de into the category English over there. For the German readers it means an occasional English post, for me it means not having to cross-post and decide before I write, where am I going to post this. The “planetsab”-feed will be the English category-feed, so no need for RSS-subscribers to change anything.

It also means another iteration of design for planetsab.de visitors. I don’t have any screenshots from the 1999/2000-era, but after colorful and cluttered

you will have to get used to white and less cluttered at the moment, we’ll see where I take it now that I have better control. Let me know what you think about the change.
