Here is the low-down:
I use a MacBook with OS 10.4. At work I plug-in an extra monitor, set so that the dock is located on the extra monitor. When my GTalk interface does not deliver any twitter messages (like since Friday) I usually launch twhirl. Since I work on the big screen I usually keep IM, Mail and apps like twhirl on the small screen (the laptop, the screen without the dock).
When unplugging the big screen all windows move to the smaller one, there I resize them and everything is fine – except for the twhirl window: it is stuck in oblivion. I can see it using resume (F9, F10) and it seems to be stuck where it should relating to the screen that it was on (meaning it was located right from the big screen and now it is vanished right of the laptop screen), but I cannot bring it back. There is no “little edge” I can move the mouse to and drag it and apparently, there is no “move window” command for the Mac.
Anybody know how to solve this glitch? Thanks!

It’s a common problem. Tends to happen with every MS app as well. However, just go to ‘Displays’ and search the latest Windows space you were using by dropping the arrangement window around…
It’s not very geeky, but solves the problem.
