Scribefire with great updates

My favorite blog editor Scribefire just received an update this week, some great fixes and new features.

1. URL auto-copy

When you add a link Scribefire automatically suggests the URL from the present browser-window. Not perfect, better would have been the URL I just copied with apple+c, but a start.

2. The configuration has moved to the left side.

I like this a lot, saves real estate.

3. “Tabbed” blogging.

This way, I can work on multiple entries at the same time. Or, I could, if I wanted to.

4. Account editing

I had a password problem with one of my blogs which came up after the last update, now there is an “edit” button.

6. Autosave
This is the best new feature for me. Sometimes FF crashed while I was writing a post. While FF remembered all the tabs I had open, the text was usually gone. To remedy this I started saving as note every five minutes, just like I do in any Office app. No need to do this anymore since Scribefire keeps the content even during a crash.
