Since I just read the chapter about Joseph Jaffe’s fatblogging experience in his recent book Join the Conversation, I thought I would pimp the fattwittering movement once again.
All you have to do to be a part of it, is follow the fatblogging twitter-account and begin to post your weight in pounds e.g. once a week. The fatblogging account will publish your numbers and over time you will see your progress and others of the fatblogging community will see it as well – and encourage you to keep it up (Note: the script behind it comes from Allen Joyce).
I would like to see someone write a script that puts these numbers automatically in to a diagramm and host that diagramm on the fatblogging.com site (owner: J. Calacanis), maybe I will try to get this into one of the new, clever Google Doc prompt pages.
As you can see, I myself have been busy and thanks to the Nike+ integration can say that I am improving my speed and burning more calories. Speaking of Nike+, a rumor on AppleInsider promises a new, much deeper fitness programm, called “digital fitness companion”. But then, you already knew that the iPod would be part of your fitness regimen soon, because your’s truly told you so in January… AppleInsider’s post comes just on the heels of a the announcement to bring iPods into gyms. Now if I just had an iPod Touch or iPhone…
