Make no mistake, I still very much believe in the Attention/Gesture model Steve Gillmor explained again last Wednesday in a rather unusual (meaning not written in postmodern English prose) clear way and am waiting for the release of the GBX 2 plug-in (about time).
However, my attention to music which is increasing immensely thanks to the introduction of a new gadget will not be part of my attention data. Last.fm‘s scrobbler seems to crash every fifth time I use it and I haven’t used my iPod in a week. With my entire collection of 800+ albums (not tracks, David 😉 ) available at my command on a stand-alone unit, even without iTunes integration to count the number of plays of each track, this data is mine only and won’t be shared automatically via any mood messages. If somebody is interested in my music-stream, grab a six pack and swing by, I am on plazes…
