Funky Amazon aka it’s the user, (who’s) stupid

So one of my clients ordered several copies of An Inconvenient Truth at amazon, got the confirmation, fine, thank you. Yesterday morning a message came in, sorry, we screwed up, we don’t have enough in stock. Confirmed by the hotline (turns out there is one, search for Amazon + Regensburg).
Turns out no copies available in Hamburg until about the end of next week. Back to the drawing board, back to Amazon. Turns out the ordered version was a UK Import. Turns out, there is another, regular English version. Turns out, that that is in stock and I have 75 minutes to order for overnight delivery. Again, confirmation. 20 minutes ago the package arrived, great service.
Learnings? One could have gone for the other edition from the start, so there is a user issue. And the Amazon hotline should have recommended the other edition. Another user issue.
