I think it was at the end of last year when you could be part of an alpha test for the new browser Flock. I tried it, as have some others and – let’s say there were issue which made it not yet ready. Mario and Nico agreed on our recent Vier Nasen tanken Super show that they were not impressed.
About four weeks ago the new version was launched – and I have to say, it rocks big time. If you have a lot of time, you could check out the TalkCrunch Episode on Flock, Mike Arrington talks about 40 minutes with the founders.
If your time is limited you should watch Manuela Hoffmann’s (Pixelgraphix) Screencast. It will give you a first impression of the differences. Take a good look at the Web Snippets function, this is basically a prelude to Ray Ozzie’s Clipboard.
Take this entry from last week: I didn’t right click on the bLaugh comic on some site, save it to some place on my hard drive, opened my blog tool and imported it there. Instead I dragged it to the web snippets clipboard… And as Manuela showed, you can also store text there.
Next up, the Flickr integration…
