In the last edition of the gang, Gillmor and the others – among other things – discuss the effect of Apple’s Boot Camp software which lets you run a Windows OS on your Mac.
I think it was Mike Vizard who said that Mac’s are superior machines when it comes to getting work done. Reliable with better software. I agree with that, it is one of the reasons I use one. So why do I need Boot Camp?
Well, Macs are not built for gaming. If I were a hard-core gamer, sure I would get a PC with I don’t know what specs. However, I might just be tempted to install a Windows system, for a quick spin of Age of Empire because a friend asked me to, or some NHL 2006 when my concentration is not high enough to listen to the Gillmor Gang.
What do you think? Is that an argument to get Boot Camp?

Hi,
since Mac games come out late and when they appear they are 500% more expensive than PC Games – I love BootCamp. Now I go to the local games store, get all those great games for Euro 10 to Euro 20, and play them on my Intel-Mac. Work is done on the Mac – all of it! Of course I would buy the Mac-Games if there is a silmutanesly release (thus the prices are the same as well) … but until then: Happy PC-Gaming, dear Mac users. Enjoy!
