Does he ever stop talking about news related to …? I will, but from the perspective of a PR-professional, they need to be listened to. And blogged about. Phil Gomes announced the launch of a new Edelman group blog about Word of Mouth called Talkshop. It looks great and I am sure, lots of valuable content will surface there.

Well… In small part, Talkshop is kind of a reaction to that — taking the bulk of the Edelman-related stuff of of my blog.

Of course, but then – you work for Edelman…
Phil Gomes
Your point eludes me.

I don’t work for Edelman. I link to them because I think they are “happening” in terms of PR and the incorporation of social media. They are making news. And since I don’t work for Edelman but am a free-lancing consultant, this blog, planetsab, is my workspace. No group blog to write things about Edelman. And of course I am not really complaining – it’s good to have content. I was just worried that some readers might find the late Edelman bias annoying.

If they do find it annoying, they will unsubscribe. To date, no one has really mentioned it to me, but I try to remain vigilant about this kind of thing.
