meebo vs. mabber (Update)
Nico will be pleased: After playing around with meebo and mabber for quite some time, now that I am on the road even more so, I choose mabber as all-in-one solution for IM.
Up until last week the decision was a no brainer, since it feature a single sign-on mechanism for ICQ, AIM, YIM and jabber. Meebo has since released an update offering single sign-on as well, but, if you have to know what makes me use mabber: it just looks better! And is quite fast as well.
Now, if they could just integrate Skype as well…

mabber uses popups but the popups dont look lame and the popups each have a purpose even the main page is refreshed and used for something
meebo doesnt use popups but the look is a bland blue
mabber works more like a jabber client using words like gateway
meebo just makes it easy without using jabber terms
mabber you need to sign up
meebo you can to get to your iming faster but you dont have to
that sums it up
if you dont like popups or signing up for things your not sure of use meebo
if you like flashy layouts with jabber and dont care if you need to sign up use mabber
