I found this quote by Steve Jobs in the German economics magazin Wirtschaftswoche, an interview most likely held in English, translated into German by the editor, now back into English by me. Still, nothing much that could be misinterpreted. Highlights added by me:
Q: Still a lot of people have problems while using a computer.
A: We have come a long way. Our operating system OS X made a lot of things easier. Almost everybody knows how to operate a Mac, it’s not that hard. When I started in the computer industry 30 years ago, everybody thought we’d have to come up with an alternative to the keyboard, since especially older people cannot type. But death took care of that problem. All the younger people can handle it.
