Loic Le Meur and Heiko Hebig are pleased that Dr. Hubert Burda’s , yes, THAT Dr. Hubert Burda, new blog is running on Movable Type. Well, congrats. I think the future will show more of these announcements, comparable with sports, e.g. “Spreeblick signs with blogg.de“. (Nico would like that, I am sure.)
Anyway, I don’t want to join the Burda-Bashing just yet (give him time!). However, as already pointed out by Thomas: An RSS-feed is the least they could have done. What I find more disturbing is this: If this
I had the pleasure to meet Hubert Burda and Marcel in Davos where we shared a blogging panel. This was two years ago and I was impressed how Dr Burda understood the power of blogs at that time already.
is the case, why the need for an editing team. Check the imprint. Sure, it takes time, but if he so ‘got it’, Dr. Burda should know it is time well invested. I guess I’ll add this one the watchlist.
UPDATE: Loic just cleared things up:
having discussed with Marcel, the intention is to begin by a Dr Burda’s website and our mistake was to present it as a blog. You’re right, it’s not one (comments, style) and they don’t pretend it’s one, blame my blog post, sorry about the confusion…

As you point out: just give them some time.
BTW, there is an RSS feed. And an Atom 1.0 feed. It’s all there.

Yes, sure there is an RSS feed, but like Thomas said, I know that only because my browser detects it. Where can e.g. IE users subscribe? And I am giving him time…:-)
So are you back from vacation? Will there be a blog report?
heiko
People should use FireFox anyway 😉
There might be a blog report later. Still need to sort through things.

Or Safari:-)
