I am accompanying my wife to World Water Week in Stockholm this week. Seven days of conferences and workshops for her, a week away from usual surroundings for me. Yesterday the City of Stockholm requested our presence for a reception in City Hall, an inspiring building until I learned it was built only in 1923. On a sidenote, water surely goes to waste in City Hall, running constantly in restrooms and visitors being forced to give up their plates with the comment, “you can always take a new one”.
Coyote Gulch wonders why he does not see any news about 3W. I couldn’t tell, but there does not seem to be very much offered for the press. I got accreditation as well but apart from the daily press conference journalists must look for their topics themselves or listen in on the various workshops. It seems a lot of work is in progross so I am expecting first results when the week draws to a close.
I have posted a couple of pictures on Flickr.
