Note: With this post I am forfeiting my chance to beta-test Mindjet, since I cannot talk about beta-testing Mindjet when a beta-tester.
Dear Mindjet, I signed up for beta-testing because I cannot wait to get my hands on a Mac version of your programm. I do not know whether it will save the universe but I bet there is a fair chance of it enhancing the creative thought process.
Imagine, how elated I was when only a couple of weeks after sign-up I found an email in my inbox, inviting me to test. Wow. But then the dissapointment when I realized the invitation was to test a Windows version. Did I mention that I had to fill out a survey during sign-up, asking me for my platform, computer usage and all those things? I sure did.
I wrote an email to the beta team but never received an answer. Then came the notification that testing had to be finished soon. Then the ‘thanks for testing’ mail. I replied that until they get their database in order they should refrain from sending me mail which of course provoked no reply.
Today I got another mail for the second round of testing. I am speechless. Not only is it mindboggling that you are not answering e-mails. I am wondering why you ask personal information at sign-up if you do not use the information correctly. And of course, why you are not working on a Mac version for all the computer nerds, early adopters and just generally nice people.
