Today wahl.de was launched, a portal where weblogs by politicians lobbying for the Bundestagswahl in Germany are listed and sometimes hosted. Three comments:
In the beginning there was also a NPD-blog listed. The right-wing (some may say Nazi) blog was taken down, getting
a ton of attention.
Secondly, it seems the blog-provider war (exaggeration) has reached a new level:
Wahlblog, Rote Wahlmannschaft and Angelas Diary powered by blogg.de versus
wahlblog05.de powered by twoday.net. It remains to see how much room is really out there.
UPDATE: Ad to that AOL with AOL.de: Politiker-Blogs.
Last but not least: The beauty of Headlines from PR weblogs, which is a weblog group on Blogdigger maintained by Constantin Basturea, is that you have one RSS-feed for all blogs listed if you prefer this over subscribing to each single one. At wahl.de there are 27 blogs listed at the moment but no mention at all of RSS-feeds and my Safari is detecting nothing. Shame on a missed opportunity. Maybe the people should have asked somebody who knows what he’s doing. Flo obviously keeps a good watchlist and immediately added an RSS-feed for recent posts and it works just fine. To be fair, here it is.

Thanks for pointing out to me that the RSS link of most recent blog entries on wahl.de was not yet on the homepage. Just included it. Let me know if Safari finds it now.
External blogs are not yet included in this RSS-list, just wahl.de-blogs. To include external blogs in this RSS-List is on our todo-list.

However, it would be nice if the RSS-feed would carry the name of the author/blog…
